Phil

Phil is a rather interesting character on our trips.  Phil goes pretty much everywhere, and does everything.  He loves the mountains, fishing horseback riding, camping, sunsets, sunrises, campfires, cooking (he's a great chef), wrangling, and hunting.  He pretty much does it all.  Yet, it's fair to ask "How did Phil get started on it all?"  Well, the answer to that is Kyle.

Kyle is my youngest son.  A couple of years ago Kyle decided that I should have some company on the pack trips and hunting trips if either he or his older brother Matthew couldn't go with me.  Being cognizant of the weight and space limitations, he decided a small stuffed animal discretely tucked away in my duffel bag would be just perfect.  The first couple of times he didn't tell me of the stow away.  However, when I found him I decided that I should take a couple of pictures of Phil on the trip, just to show that Phil wasn't bored on the trip.  Kyle loved seeing pictures of Phil and his antics after every trip.  From then on, Phil's adventures sort of took on a live of their own.
